To help people understand the role of councillor, the expectations and the benefits of being part of Woughton Community Council and to support applications for co-option onto the council, Cllr Sue Smith (Chair of Council), Steve McNay (Council Manager) and others will be holding a final information evening.

This is an open event, where people from across the parish who are interested in becoming a councillor, can attend to find out more with aview to applying for 'co-option' onto the council in September.

There are currently six vacancies - one on Coffee Hall, one on Netherfield and two on both Beanhill and Eaglestone.

You can check for more information on our dedicated 'Become a Councillor' page, alongside an application form for co-option.
The Information Evening will take place at:

The Council Chambers
The Council Hub
Local Centre
Garraways
Coffee Hall
MK6 5EG

The entrance is on the 'green' between the local centre and the church.

It will start at 6pm for between an hour and 90 minutes (depending on how busy it is!).
