WHAT WE OFFER

The Communities and Environment Fund (previously known as Grant Aid) is a local grant scheme aimed at improving the quality of life of people who live, work and visit the Woughton Community Council area.
Grant funding can be awarded for a wide variety of activities and projects - Woughton Community Council is eager to support residents developing and delivering support across the parish.

This picture shows the Eaglestone Residents Association 'Picnic in the Park', which was supported by a grant from the Commuities and Environment Fund. This event included entertainment, games, activities, and food stalls - the sun shone and hundreds of residents enjoyed a truly community based event.

Other activities have included coach trips, support to charities supporting Woughton residents, festivals and fun days and projects that help build community spirit.

Woughton also provides direct support to resident associations to help with running costs.
Applications can be made at any time throughout the year and notification of a decision will be made within twelve weeks of receiving a completed application. On this basis, please put in an application plenty of time before the event is scheduled.

For further details concerning our funding program, please contact us.
We would strongly encourage you to read the updated Communities and Environment Fund guidance notes prior to submitting an application. This is available to be viewed below, as well as the application forms.

If you would like to complete the form electronically, the ‘e-version’ allows you to complete the form, save it and return by email - this does require access to Microsoft Word. Alternatively there is a PDF version that can be printed, completed and returned either physically or scanned and emailed.
