Youth Advice -  
Our Youth team are well informed and connected. We are always available to offer support and guidance for local young people and their families, within our roles of expertise.  
We have Youth Workers who can offer 1 to 1 support directly and signpost or connect you to other specialist and professional services.  
 
In addition we have created an Advice Directory here with some of the most likely and trusted external organisations included, that you can browse and access contact information to enable you to make direct contact yourselves. Especially helpful for out of hours enquiries.

Partnered Organisations 
If you are struggling financially and need urgent help with food, Milton Keynes Foodbank can provide you and your family with a food parcel. 
The Hygiene Bank believe it is not right that feeling clean should be a luxury or a privilege for anyone in our society, yet 4.2 million adults in the UK are living in hygiene poverty and cannot afford to stay clean. 
That is why their network of projects exists – they collect and distribute hygiene products to communities in need. 
iCaSH offers integrated contraception and sexual health services, including STI and HIV testing and treatment, as well as a range of contraceptive options. They also provide community outreach services including free condoms, Chlamydia screening and sexual health advice and signposting. 
MK Music Service ensures that all young people are able to receive an excellent music education and that they have opportunities to develop their music skills. 
Phoenix Arts MK offer arts opportunities to the Woughton community, as well as the larger Milton Keynes area. They offer the opportunity of trips, workshops, local performances and participation in events at low or no cost. 
Under the Umbrella is a Milton Keynes based LGBTQ+ youth group, offering two groups for ages13-17 and 18-25, as well as a group for adults and carers of young people in the LGBTQ+ community. They also offer to work with schools in cases of facing any issues surrounding LGBTQ+ identities, as well as 1-2-1 mentoring and signposting. 
All other organisations 
Arthur Ellis offers 1-to-1 support sessions for people who would otherwise have limited or restricted access to mental health services. 
Black Sheep Collective offer a range of Youth Theatre classes and Youth Club sessions for children and young people between the ages of 5 to 18 years. Their weekly classes aim to educate, inspire and develop independent confident performers to express themselves through drama and performance. 
Childline is here to help anyone under 19 in the UK with any issue they’re going through. Whether it’s something big or small, their trained counsellors are here to support you. Childline is free, confidential and available any time, day or night. 
The young carers service supports children and young people from the age of 5 to 25 who are a resident in Milton Keynes, who have a practical caring role for someone with a disability, chronic or serious illness, mental health condition or learning difficulty. 
CAMHS is made up of a team of specialist clinicians, therapists and nurses supporting children, young people and their families and carers. We offer support including in-person, individual, on-line and group therapy, talking therapy, art therapy, family therapy, treatments, and urgent care. 
MK Dons Sports and Education Trust (SET) is an independant charity linked to the football club who offer inclusive sports sessions for young people living in and around Milton Keynes. 
A Milton Keynes based charity that supports children bereaved of a parent or sibling by providing resources, facilitated contact, space for shared experience, as well s trips, activities and short breaks. 
Mind BLMK's Young Person’s Sanctuaries are safe, non-judgemental drop-in’s that you can come to if you find yourself in crisis or mental distress in the evenings. A trained youth mental health worker will be there to listen and help you identify ways to address the problems you are facing. 
 
MK College provide a wide variety of qualifications, from vocational courses and apprenticeships to higher education and professional certificates, along with employability skills and community training. Operating from two campuses in Milton Keynes and Bletchley, they focus on meeting individual needs and welcoming those who want to learn and improve. 
They provide clothing for adults and children of school age upwards free of charge to families and individuals who are in need and have been referred to them. MK Storehouse want to meet people to offer them a friendly ear or someone to talk to, all in a safe and warm environment. 
A Milton Keynes based LGBTQ+ charity who offers Youth Groups in Milton Keynes and Bedford, as well as a drop in support hub for young people. 
Ride High gives disadvantaged and vulnerable children ages 8-17 the opportunity to learn to ride and look after horses and ponies. Time spent with the horses promotes confidence, responsible behaviour, respect and trust, and positive mental wellbeing. 
SAFE! Support for Young People Affected by Crime provides support to children and families around the Thame Valley who have been affected by crime or abuse through 1-2-1 and group sessions. 
MK Special Educational Needs and Disability Service (SENDIAS) is a statutory service offering confidential and impartial information, advice and support to children and young people with additional needs and their parents/carers. The remit of SENDIAS covers education, health and social care between the ages of 0-25. 
Since 1972, we’ve helped 500,000 people in Milton Keynes to find a way forward with over 2.5m separate problems. All of our work is funded by grants, fundraising , and donations from the public. 
The Swans Community Partnership is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company rooted in the heart of Newport Pagnell. They are dedicated to harnessing the power of sport, arts, and education to drive positive, lasting change in people’s lives—committed to inclusion, opportunity, and access for all. 
YoungMinds are a mental health charity for children, young people and their parents, making sure all young people can get the mental health support they need. 
YMCA MK provides supported housing for young adults, aged 13-25 in Milton Keynes, as well as providing practical, emotional and employment support to help their residents. On top of this they offer weekly youth groups across Milton Keynes for ages 11-18.
