Energy Bills help

 

The government has published some information about the help that has been agreed around fuel bills increasing, which can be found on the link below.  

This includes  

 

- the reductions of £400 on fuel bills (although it does say they won't have to be repaid - they will, but over a few years as an additional bit on your bill) 

- payments for people on (some) benefits,  

- payments for (some) people getting a pension 

- payments for (some) people with disabilities 

- existing schemes, such as winter fuel payments, etc. 

 

There is also some information about grants to make homes more efficient.
