The Griffin, that sits proudly in the park at Eaglestone, was recently damaged and, working in partnership, WCC, MKCC and local artists Aaron and Emma, have undertaken repairs and there will be an official 'unveiling' on Friday 21st November.
3.15 -3.45pm - all are very welcome!
Following some vandalism, the Griffin was damaged with the concrete broken and the paintwork damaged. Following the report of damage (thanks Jo!), we contacted MKCC, who arranged for fencing to be put round to avoid any further damage being caused. They spoke to the specialist repairers, Aaron Head and Emma Wilde (who did the refurbishment back in 2020) who came and started fixing it that weekend! The weather caused some delays, but we are pleased to say that the works have finished and The Griffin is looking splendid again.
HUGE thanks to Aaron, Emma and the team at MKCC who got this sorted so quickly.
