Part Time Youth Support Worker / Play Ranger
This is an exciting opportunity to join an award-winning local council at a crucial time. This role would be ideal for practitioners from a wide range of backgrounds (education, social, youth and community, etc.) to develop professionally whilst supporting children, young people and families across the parish.
Woughton is a diverse parish to the south of Central Milton Keynes, covering 7 residential and 2 industrial estates. With an annual budget of around £1million, a range of services, 19 elected councillors and a staff team of 25+, this is a council that gets stuff done. This role is part of our sector leading Youth team, who support hundreds of children and young people each week.
Woughton is a Mindful Employer, Living Wage employer and has a variety of employee benefits including Bike2Work, Local Government Pension scheme, ‘green book’ terms and conditions and a healthy training budget – it is a good place to work and develop.
If this sounds like the place for you, the role specification, job description and application pack are all available online (see below) or if you would like to discuss the post, please contact Tash Darling, Youth Manager (tash.darling@woughtoncommunitycouncil.gov.uk or 01908 395681).
Bank Caretaker
We are looking for people to join our caretaking team on an ‘as and when needed’ basis. These people will take responsibility for our facilities, ensuring they are maintained to best practise.
Taking pride in our community venues and ensuring they are usable for our residents/service users is the most important part of the role. Opening and closing for bookings whilst maintaining proper cleaning practises between bookings will form the majority of the work. You will be the official representative of Woughton Community Council, acting as a first point of contact for people using our facilities. A friendly, amicable personality is necessary.
We are looking for a competent individual who enjoys working as part of a team.
How to Apply
You can submit your application using MS Form by clicking HERE. Please note that this will need to be done in 'one sitting' - you can't save and come back (although you can leave the window open and won't be 'timed out').
Alternatively, you can download a Word copy HERE and complete at your leisure. Please return completed applications forms to HR@woughtoncommunitycouncil.gov.uk
