Woughton Community Council is the council closest to the communities of Netherfield, Coffee Hall, Eaglestone, Tinkers Bridge, Leadenhall, Peartree Bridge and Beanhill. Woughton Community Council are offering an opportunity for various Youth worker contracts within our Youth team (typically after school hours.)

To support and deliver a regular programme of play opportunities with children and young people, that is inclusive, varied and of the highest quality within the Woughton Community Council area.

 

Community Services Manager

Role profile

You will co-ordinate the development and delivery of a range of community services across the parish of Woughton, building community involvement and ownership and addressing the key issues for the locality.

We are looking for an individual with proven skillset in supervising and management, being directly responsible for the effective operation of the community team.

Senior Landscape Operative

Role Profile  

Application Form 

You will be employed in a supervisory capacity to maintain and support management of the landscaping team, you will work across all of our estates to ensure our landscaping duties are sustained to a high standard, working as part of a both proactive and reactive service department within Woughton Community Council. This role is of a physically demanding nature, requiring reliability, flexibility, fitness and ability to work outdoors for considerable periods in all weather conditions.

We are looking for an individual with previous landscape maintenance experience, the chosen individual will hold current certificates of competence in chainsaws (CS30/31) and have a current full driving license with part B & E (towing).

Community Café Coordinator

Role Profile

This role sits at the heart of the community department, focusing on ensuring that the council priorities of addressing food poverty and reducing waste are met. Working with colleagues from across the council, partners from outside agencies and volunteers, as well as members of the local community, you will be working to develop this project that support access to affordable and nutritious food, providing a welcoming environment and supporting community members and groups (including some already in place) to work collaboratively towards the provision of a Community Café.

We are looking for someone with an understanding of menu creation and café management, who can work to develop a team of volunteers and support provision of the community café, ordering and managing supplies and ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and service delivery.
