The Annual Service Plan 2018/19

Each year, we create a plan that determines the activities and actions that we aim to achieve. The plan runs from April to March (the financial year for us) and includes a whole range of things that help the council do what we are set up to do – help local people make Woughton great.

This year, there are 77 things on our plan. They range from things that help make sure the council is providing high quality services and support (so making sure we get our financial returns in on time, having our annual audits, working towards a Local Council Award) to really important things around how we support our communities (delivery of key services, new initiatives, events and so on).

The plan is split into four parts; Quality, capacity and development (making sure we are a quality council), Communication, engagement and events (making sure we keep you informed and involved in what we do), Community Support and Development (our services and support to local residents) and Civic Pride (helping make sure that Woughton is the best it can be).
