TRANSPORT STRATEGY REVIEW
Milton Keynes Council is seeking your views on updating its Transport Strategy.
We have carried out a first-year review, which focused on the evidence base for the MK transport model, the integration of the Bletchley Transport Strategy and the production of a revised list of transport schemes (interventions).
Everyone in Milton Keynes uses some form of transport on a regular basis so we need as many different views as possible in order to make this consultation fully representative.
The Council wants to ensure that its transport plans will benefit residents, businesses and visitors alike and will continue to provide an efficient and safe transport network.

As winter approaches and seasonal illnesses like flu and tummy bugs begin to circulate, Milton Keynes residents now have a new helpline for urgent health problems.
The Milton Keynes Urgent Care telephone number is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The service makes it easier for the public to access healthcare services when they need medical help fast, but it's not a life-threatening situation.
Dr Nicola Smith, GP lead for urgent care for Milton Keynes, said: "As part of our ongoing Choose well campaign to encourage appropriate use of local NHS services and help patients, we are launching this number as a one stop shop for urgent health advice and support.
"The number is for when you need urgent advice and treatment for illness, infections and injuries.
"The number also covers the GP Out of Hours Service for Milton Keynes should you need advice or a GP appointment outside of surgery opening hours.
"You can also contact the Urgent Care Centre via the number and to ensure you don't make an unnecessary journey to the centre, please call the Urgent Care number in the first instance."
You can call the Urgent Care Service on 01908 201022
In emergencies such as heavy blood loss, chest pains, loss of consciousness or broken bones, always call 999. However, when it's not an emergency, the Urgent Care helpline is always there.
More information about the service and all the other information you need to keep you warm and well this winter is available at on the NHS Milton Keynes website at

BENCH INSTALLED OPPOSITE THE NETHERFIELD HOUSING OFFICE
A bench has recently been installed on the Redway Adjacent to the Netherfield Housing Office, following a request from the Netherfield Residents Association, who also picked this location as it is a popular route to the Milton Keynes General Hospital; the bench was paid for by Groundwork, and ordered and installed by Woughton Community Council.
