The feeders were made from recycled wooden pallets that were cut into strips, these strips were then nailed into a u shape and mesh wire stapled across the front and back. A length of rope was then run from the base and through a wooden square that formed the top, which would later enable the feeder to be hung from a tree.

Once the feeders were constructed they were then filled with either seed (that was donated) or nuts that we provided. It was a very positive session with over 40 people participating; some of the comments at the end of the session were as follows, ‘enjoyed the session very much’ ‘we had a good laugh’ and ‘we loved it’.
