Woughton has it's first "Winter Ball"

Woughton Parish Council held its first ever Charity Ball on Friday 27th November at the Mercure Parkside Hotel in Woughton on the Green. The idea for this event came from Parish Cllr Sue Smith who thought it would be a great way of not only showing some of the work that the Council does but also of raising much needed money for local charities.  Fun making bird feeders

In September Eaglestone residents got the chance to take part in a workshop, hosted by Woughton Parish officers, to make bird feeders from recycled wooden pallets and metal gauze.
The feeders were then filled with peanuts. Several of the younger residents showed an interest and after the event they were encouraged to take them home to put up in their garden to encourage birds to come and feed through the winter months.
